Saint Martin sur Oust is a village of 1300 inhabitants on the banks of the River Oust where there is a boat hire company and two friendly hotels / bars. The nearby The Château of Castellan is interesting as is the local church. The village centre is thriving with bars, restaurants, shops and motor engineer who is excellent at getting the best out of garden machinery. Be aware there is a nasty junction in the village with a blind stop line, impossible to see traffic approaching from the left. |
